Polish Lunch will take place on Sunday, November 9, starting at 10:45 a.m. All are invited.
CCD Program – registration after each Sunday Mass. Each child / youngster has 4 choices: Sundays at 1:00 p.m. in English + Sundays at 5:00 p.m. in Spanish + Mondays at 5:15 p.m. in English + Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. in English.
Centennial anniversary of the construction of our church – main projects: * installation of the new Main Altar of Christ the High Priest – completed on August 11, 202; * creation of a new chapel in the church ( Chapel of the Crucified Lord ) with His images coming from various parts of the world ( situated on the left side of the staircase leading us to the choir loft ) – completed on July 4, 2021; * construction of a new sidewalk behind the church – connecting the existing sidewalk on both sides of the church ) – completed on August 14, 2021; * erection of a statue of St. Joseph the Worker in the garden area on the right side of the church – completed on September 2, 2021; * installation of the Praying Angel on the left side of the church on August 20, 2022; * renovation of the parish parking lot’s wall on August 21, 2022; * installation of a new welcoming sign in front of the church on October 7, 2022; * renovation of the kitchen and the stage in our Parish Center ( April 2023 ); * renovation of the sidewalk in front of the church and the staircase that leads to its front entrance door ( April 2023 ); * renovation of the staircase leading to the side doors of the church and to the front door of the rectory ( May 2024 )
Travelling Chalice: To promote prayers for vocations among our parishioners and to ask the Lord to inspire young men from our parish to enter Priesthood, I warmly invite you, my Dear Parishioners and Friends of the Parish, to consider receiving an old chalice, hosting it for a week and at the time of its presence among you, saying a daily prayer for vocations. The prayer cards will accompany the chalice. You can ask for any week of your choice personally or via a phone call ( 732-257-0100 ). Fr. John
Historic visit and Mass – All are invited to a solemn Mass to be offered on Saturday, December 6 at 6:00 p.m. by His Eminence Oscar Cardinal Rodriguez Maradiaga, Archbishop Emeritus of Tegucigalpa in Honduras. It will be the first liturgy celebrated by a Cardinal in the 118-years old history of our parish.
International Pilgrimage of St. Stephen’s Church to Our Lady of La Salette Shrine in France and to other religious sites in 6 European countries will take place on May 18 – 27, 2026. More info and registration after each Mass with Fr. John
Sixth Parish Pilgrimage on Foot will take place on Saturday, November 8, starting at St. Mary’s Church in South Amboy at 9:00 a.m. and ending in ours around 3:00 p.m, All are invited. Registration is required.

Next Parish Bingo will take place on Saturday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. With food, refreshments and dancing music.
